Multiplayer Mobile Basketball Game Taps Into Augmented Reality Exclusive on AT&T 5G Devices

9 MARCH 2020 (TORONTO - ON) - Dark Slope announces the launch of Trick Shot Kings a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) application that lets people hit the ultimate basketball trick shot. Fully experienced in AR, Trick Shot Kings transports players to a city court whenever and wherever they play. Created in collaboration with AT&T, Trick Shot Kings will be available for all AT&T customers with a 5G-capable smartphone starting with the Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup.

Trick Shot Kings turns the city into the player’s court. Featuring single player and two multiplayer options, players compete to outdo each other with unreal trick shots. In an easy to play format, players can use a surrounding billboard as a backboard or bounce off a hot dog cart, the crazier the shot the higher the score. Each game is three 1-minute rounds, complete with a victory dance and the ability to share the shots that deserve bragging rights on socials.

“We are thrilled to launch Trick Shot Kings in collaboration with AT&T,” said Eyal Kleiner, Head of Enterprise Services and Business Development, Dark Slope. “Working with AT&T enabled us to use an AR format to our full advantage resulting in a multiplayer experience with low latency, responsive design elements and overall, a really fun game to play.”

“Our work with Dark Slope takes a page out of science fiction and turns it into science fact. Only AT&T customers can experience Trick Shot Kings as it takes players beyond the screen and into the world around them as they tap into the power of one of our 5G devices,” said Jay Cary, vice president of 5G marketing and development, AT&T.
